From the editor's keyboard.....

Inscrutable are His ways. It is said in Sai Satcharita that Sainath chooses His followers for various activities. It is also believed that unless He makes the choice, one cannot even attempt to initiate the task.

It was Shriman Booty who was entrusted with the construction of the mandir while Srimad Hemadpanth was blessed with the task of authoring Sri Sai Satcharithaamritha.

We are aware of Dasganu Maharaj's vision and how he was blessed with the task of propagating Sai tatva through his kirtans.

A Sai devotee as a response to a vision that Sadguru Sainath had blessed him with a few years ago, conceived this Shri Saibaba web site.

In a similar manner Sainath has chosen this editor through a vision graced to another Sai Devotee a few weeks ago precisely when this editor was struggling with His priorities and shortcomings. What a thrust! Inscrutable are His ways indeed!!

Devotees are encouraged to make suggestions, offer criticism, tender advice and inspire others to tread the path of perennial bliss.

Contributions in the form of original writing, commentary, opinions, and Sai activities are requested. Please send them to the web site administrator.

Coconut's weight on a sparrow's head? What is not possible with love and devotion! Let the love of Sai be reflected in every sentence written, every word said. Let our love and devotion to Him be seen in this forum just like it has been elsewhere. Bow to Sri Sai Peace be to all

Humbly yours,

The Editor.

Feature of the week:
The Master of Creation

"You will never be able to understand thoroughly how great Sai Baba is. He is the very personification of perfection. If you know Him as I know Him, you would call Him the Master of Creation" - Meher Baba

Rarely does one find the likes of Sadguru Sainath. Lovingly referred to as Baba by His followers, Sai Baba of Shirdi is one great soul that constantly defies one's definition of God. It may be helpful for a spiritual seeker to have an entity with certain attributes and if so how would one categorize Sai Baba. Is he a mendicant that roamed around in the streets of Shirdi a century ago, or is He the medicine man that treated those who came to Him seeking help?

Sainath has said that it is not important whether one is Hindu or a Muslim, But it is very difficult to know the difference between "black" and "white", the darkness of ignorance and the brightness of perennial bliss.

Could He be a Hindu as were those treated by Him or was He a Muslim like those who trusted Him. The beauty of journey starts with these curious puzzles, as if to teach His devotees the limited-ness of man made boundaries!

Meher Baba, revered as one of the realized souls of our times, calls Sai Baba the Master of Creation, the personification of perfection. Sai Baba dwells in the imperfections of human life in order to emphasize the perfection.

The ubiquitous nature of supreme conscious and its realization in every self seems to have several boundaries to cross. Sai Baba has asked His devotees to be aware of these boundaries, the imperfections which seem to confine the absolute that should otherwise be universally accessible.

Sainath has said that it is not important whether one is Hindu or a Muslim, but it is very important to know the difference between "black" and " white", the darkness of ignorance and the brightness of perennial bliss.

Welcome one and all to yet another fold of His coffers where His children are to play, grow, learn and shine. Sai Baba said "My coffers are always open". It is for us to seek.

Devotees say...
By Ravin Gnanasambandam, Arkansas, USA.

I have been thinking about a comment made by a friend on the satsang.

Are we trying to stop the time? Can we really do that ?. How could one stop, hasten, or control the time?

If this is possible by some means, I would rather like the time to be hastened so much that we all understand the differences enough to appreciate the nature, be unified, realized, and be able to see, see through and through till we cease to resist our sixth sensethe faculty that makes us so "different" !

Our space is His grace and our time His lease. Who is He here ? Just ask !!!
