![]() Feature of the week:Imbibe Sai in every breath and gulp! "Dwarakamayi pe dhyaan lagaana Sayee ke gun gaana Pure bliss is when the whole being, the thoughts, words and actions are soaked with Sai. The purpose of life is fulfilled when such a state is pursued. Knowledge and scholarship aside, the true pursuit of Sai begins in seeing the self in Sai and the Sai in the self. Such state is achieved as one sees Sai in everywhere and in every self. Let the day begin with the bounty of thanks to the Sadguru, the merciful fakir that guides us every day. Let Sai's presence be felt in sunshine and rainfall alike; let us see Him in everything good and everything bad. Ignoramus that we are, let us realize that good and bad are just manifestations of the myth. Let His thoughts lead us to the victory over fallible discriminations, our immature attempts to decipher what is good for us from what is bad for us. Let us limit ourselves to just one resort, the choice to make Sadguru as our only object of thoughts in our everyday lives. Let our practices, our habits, our routine include Sai at every step in any form. This is the true saadhana!

Pari-thranaya Sadhunaam Vinaa-shaaya Dushkrutham "Whenever there is a decay of Dharma (righteousness) and an ascendancy of unrighteousness, I manifest Myself; and for the protection of the virtuous, the destruction of the vicious and for the establishment of righteousness, I manifest Myself in age after age".Bhagvadgita (IV 7-8).
True to HIS promise, Lord, from time to time has manifested HIMSELF in this universe to put people on the righteous path. God came down in the form of Saints and Incarnations to lead the stray in the path of good, righteousness and truth. We are also bestowed with common sense that is to be used at our discretion and make an informative choice of following this path. These incarnations also have written many works, which are the gospel of the Lord, and there are still people in the universe whose reins are taken into the hands of the Lord and they still contribute to the path of the truth. Do we all benefit and are influenced by them and their work? Do we understand the significance of the presence of these saints amidst us? What is our reaction towards such saints?
First, most of us believe in god and try to the best of our ability to be good humans, it is very hard to be good, but we always give it our best shot. We are overwhelmed with god-realized people; we show all the characters of true devotees such as choking, uncontrolled crying, our whole being shaken up being in presence of such spiritual persons. We are very much influenced by those pure souls who have seen truth and have felt God in their heart and heart of other humans as well. We are truly inspired and give our thanks to Lord for showing us our guru or spiritual guide and leader who would lead us to the path of divinity. We are very reverential, and bow to them with sincerity.
We then try to capture their form in a picture and put it in our pooja mandir to be worshiped every day along with other gods. We then fall into our systematic rituals of offering food, flowers, and reciting hymns everyday to that saint along with other gods. We even squeeze few pictures of those saints to drape our walls that are adorned by other gods and saints. We then develop this habit of bowing to those pictures and touching them and kissing them every time we pass that picture, probably about 20 times a day, almost feels like an obsessive-compulsive disorder to an onlooker. Well, let us truly question ourselves, is this why God has taken birth again and again in this world, so that we pay HIM respects and carry on in our life with same old bad habits? What is the actual purpose of such incarnations? Sure, they are not here to tell our future and the ways to avoid our misfortunes, there is an ulterior purpose for their advent in this world.
The purpose of advent of saints on this earth is for humans to emulate them. We always have had role models from the time we are born. We see our parents and learn from them, then our peers and the environment that we grow in. As a result, we acquire some desirable and undesirable characters, which make us an individual. When lord puts us in contact with such holy person(s), it is for us to emulate them and to walk in their path towards divinity. The saints are least worried about the respect they get from others. They are beyond the worldly influence. In case of Sadguru Sainath of Shirdi, He cared a fig for the outward respect shown by the other devotees. BABA wanted sincerity in thoughts and actions. Take for example the incidence in chapter 23 of Satcharitha, which describes the ordeal of guru bhakti - BABA wanted to demonstrate the sincerity of Kaka Saheb Dixit. It is these innate qualities that one develops because of the long association with guru that matters. (To be continued ...)

Sign the day with the SunBeam of Sai, Prayers of Sai brings the sweetness in life, Chant of Sai sweetness your mouth, Sai in you keeps you non-impotent, Ragini Palani Then she called me here and told everything and not to worry about anything anymore. The next week My husband got a job with good salary and everything. We are very happy now. To the devotees who lost their job, I would like to tell only one thing just surrender yourself to him. He will take care of you. Believe me. Don't loose your faith on Him. He knows what is going on in your family and when to solve it. Bow to Sai, Peace to all. Darshan Kulkarni The next day we went to Shyam's office. He was very generous to receive us and talked about his office and plans of exporing his company's opportunities in consulting field. After 40 minutes of our discussions, to the greatest surprise of my life, Shyam offered me the job as his Manager (Recruitment& Business Development) and asked to join immediately, then & there. It was beyond my belief and control in the sense that I was still in dilemma whether it was happening in reality. Then I told him would join on Thursday (Sept. 12, 2002). Even after going back home couldn't believe myself that I had a job in hand. Here I want to say to everyone that those were the morale boosting and confidence building blessings from none other than BABA who really has shown his presence for the needy and helping when required. During vinayaka chavathi days in 2002, my sister was performing BABA's parayana at her home and was reading BABA's life history. We had satsang at her home when she completed parayana. Shyamsunder (a thorough devotee of BABA) was to help us perform the satsang. After the pooja was getting over when I looked into the eyes of BABA, I got an instant feeling to read BABA's life history book and requested Shyam if I could retain BABA's photo & book for another one week. He said that's great. Trust me this has happend without my knowledge and senses. Then I read BABA's story in the next one week starting on the following Thursday and completed on the Wednesday next. Since then believe it or not my confidence level increased to unmeasured heights and morale is also at its peak. Now feel so relaxed in any matter and hardly get tensed or anger. Just take BABA's name everyday morning then go to work. It is so relaxing and refreshing. My employer Shyam is so happy with my performance and is ready to partner with me for his that division that I am currently handling, with in two months of my joining his office. " Unbelievable ". Today is my completion of two months in Shyam's office. I am really happy to share my story with all of you and would like to suggest those who are still running in trouble. " Have faith in your confidence, believe in yourself and pray to god (BABA) and try to read his life story if you can ". It helps you rebuild the lost confidence & morale and no wonder you might me one of those people who may be sharing your stories of success in the very near future. I wish you floks all the best luck in the world and pray to BABA to shower his blessings on you.
