What is needed of those involved in spreading Sai message is humility, utmost faith in Sadguru and acceptance that He is the wirepuller and the individuals are mere participants. Humility for a Sai devotee should be a constant reminder. The association with any image or emotion, even be sattwic, can only be a form of hindrance to the task. Hemadpanth aptly wrote that ahankara, the sense of doership in this context, couldn't be conquered as long as association with any emotion persists. Dasganu was chided by Baba for setting out like a bridegroom for singing God's glory. Sai prachaar may not be an elevated state of activity, time bound and material driven. It happens with the mere intention of sharing Sadguru's word. Until one truthfully considers himself to be the least qualified to do the task and realizes that it is providence that bestowed the blessing, the self remains hindrance to the task.

Baba set up an example by calling Himself a devotee of God. He extolled the virtues of God, Himself remaining a meek servant. Some say Baba was 'Bhagawad baktha', the devotee of Lord. "Allah maalik", "God is great", said the God Himself! In the spiritual context, one may ascribe this attitude of Baba to adwaita, the non-dual nature of the divine, where Sadguru and Sadbhaktha are one and the same. However, in the context of spreading God's words, Baba set up an example. If God calls himself a meek creature, an insect in the dung, where would that place his followers?

Let this be our reminder as we embark onto the newer phase of understanding Sai message, by learning and sharing, with humility as a mater of fact.

Early this Jan the following bhajan came to me while driving on US 59, after completion of a saptaha of Sri Sai Satcharitra, along with the rhythm by Baba's grace. As I have no knowledge of poetry and music, I consider this Baba sent.

My father was suffering from a type of cancer - Lymphoma and it had relapsed soon after the first round of treatment had finished. I was getting married in a few months and the wedding was going to be right in the middle of his treatment. The doctors had given him 6 months and told us that they were not sure about the treatment options and asked us to contact some specialist in the US. They left it up to us to contact this doctor. We had tried constantly for three days to contact him, but just could not reach him and the next day the specialist was leaving for a 5-day conference. So, our local doctor decided not to waste time and start the treatment that was best in his judgment, the very next day. We had the bags packed to go to the hospital. That night I was very restless. Around 5 am, I woke up. I had Baba's photo under my pillow and there was like the presence of some energy around me, which told me to just press Baba's photo on my heart and that everything would be okay. I did that and felt all anxiety leave me. I got out of bed and called the specialist again. And with Baba's grace, the specialist himself picked up the phone...his office had closed and he was walking out of the door when he heard the phone ring. He discussed the case and said that no treatment was necessary and we should just wait and watch. I had a great wedding by Baba's grace. My father did not have any treatment for the next 2two and a half years and lived for 6 more years...the doctors had given him only 6 months.

Dear BABA, things are at every different problems and everybody around has some or other problems are these problems self created no these are coming as the directions from some or the other supreme ankita santans on this earth....But why don't they understand that when they can be given so many powers why can't other people on this earth can have and can achieve the destination sooner or later .......If they come, ask me, do the things, and guide me as they have been given the supreme powers, which will be theirs. I have observed so many devotees say, "I visited Shirdi and Samadhi mandir" when ever I read this I feel like how can this people say Samadhi mandir and at the same time praying to Saibaba. Well someone doesn't agree with these kinds of things. What should I do prabhu. Show me the true path. Always remember this whether you pray in a Church or Masjid, Sai is Christ, Ram, Rahim or any other God, as well as in all living or non living things. Please help my parents to get well. My mother had a stroke in 2001 and still she is not recovering the way she should have been. Now my Dad is diagnosed with Parkinson's disease. Please Baba look upon them and find a really good match for my brother so that my parents can have some change in their lives. I am in USA and can only pray to you. It is not possible for me to leave my family here and go to help them. So, Baba be there for them always.

My elder sister died on July 19th2004and I am very unhappy even more as one of her sons is not yet settled and depressed. I know that sai baba will help this child become normal, become independent, get a good job, and live happily. Though we aunts are helping him, still it is loss of a precious person. I am devastated by the loss of my dear sister. But the agony suffered by her young sons is sad to see. Please help all of us, as we believe in your divine help. Her soul rests in peace at your divine feet for she was unhappy in her earthly journey, unwell, and not taken good care of. Q. How does a Sai devotee approach social evil such as Caste discrimination?

OM SARVAMATHA SAMMATHAYA NAMAHA. This is one of the names in Sri Sai Astottharam. Sri Sai baba showed us that all the castes are the same. He always used to say SAB KA MALIK EK. This can be shown by Baba's interest in conducting urus and Sri Rama navami festivals together. He never looked at the caste of the person; he looked for the sincere, unalloyed devotion in the person's heart. That's why the people of different religions are attracted by Sri Sai's teachings as they contain the essence of every religion. There are lots of varieties of fruits in nature. There is no problem because of the different varieties. But, the problem comes when one starts comparing one kind of fruit with another kind of fruit and starts judging that particular fruit only is superior and the other one as inferior. Likewise, the same example applies to different castes in the society. It is better not to look down or look up at any caste in particular. Every one is important and needed for the equilibrium in the society.

All of us have come from the one divine source .EKAM SAT VIPRA BAHUDHA VADANTI(Truth is one ,but wise men talks about it in many ways.)The absolute truth is eternal for every one. It is not limited to one caste, one person or one religion. Yatha Mat Tatha Path (As many religions so many paths to GOD).
