Feature of the week:
What shall ye seek?
Khuda apne waliyon se hotaa hain raazee
It's an agreement between God and His chosen few
Saibaba said, "I have to take care of my children day and night and give an account to God of every paisa". The loving assurance of the Saint God that He is responsible to those who come to Him is yet another unique feature of Sai path. Baba said, "I draw to Me My man from far off, or even across the seven seas, like a sparrow with a string fastened to its feet." He also made it clear to him that if he be not Baba's man, he would not be attracted to Him and given a darshan. Once such a "rinanubandha", the Karmic Indebtedness is established and if one were to be the fortunate sparrow, what is his prerogative? Just to believe that Saibaba was a Saint, a realized soul who bestows material wealth? Or who by miracles make the impossible happen? Or more than the above? The humble Lord of Shirdi also said that He is a servant of God. Are God and His servant one and the same? Let us question the Omniscience of God, we shall find the answers ourselves. The manifestation we see is in fact the Omnipresent conscious appearing closer to us lest our ignorance shall fail to grasp! Saibaba laments that everyone wants to ask what he or she wanted but none wants to receive what he wanted to give. What could that be? How does one receive it? Is one capable of receiving it? Most important things do not come without asking and nothing is impossible in Baba's path. Seek Baba as Rama, Sai Krishna, Dattatreya, or Jesus. See Baba in anyone and in anything at your convenience. If any of the above would seem to limit the magnificence of the Saint, for any reasons, see Baba as Baba! Top to toe, in and out. Neither is a need to institutionalize Baba nor radicalize! Read, write, talk and sing, dwell on the thoughts of the benevolent fakir and none else, day and night, day after day! See Baba in hunger and deprivation; see Baba in wealth and prosperity. See Baba in dirt and clean, in pain and anger. In captivity and freedom. In Sattwa or Tamas or beyond. Seek Baba in every attribute until the imagination exhausts itself. See Baba until you know that you are not capable of seeing anything else. In that surrender, in the sweet incapacity, perhaps lies dormant what Baba wanted to give you! Let the desire and fear vanish. Let the material die. Let the spirit be known.

Spiritual pursuits, sooner or later, must give rise to a realization that life as one sees is myth, the play of Maya. A long-lasting sleep completely full of dreams and nightmares. Existing dormant in the seeker as a neglected fact, this realization will assume immense importance as one proceeds with Saadhana, an intense yearning, with the guidance of Guru. Only the Supreme soul that transcends time and space, as we define it, knows this as the Truth. Saint God of Shirdi, the manifestation of supreme consciousness told this to His children. Numerous incidents and anecdotes involve Sai belittling the perceived values of humankind only to emphasize the permanent virtues that one should long for. Preaching about Brahma Gnana to the miser merchant in Sri Sai Satcharitamritha is one such example. Understanding the limitedness of pain and pleasure may be one important step in the human life that helps accomplish the bigger goal of God-realization which is nothing but self-realization. Let us examine the vision that Yogi Minocher was blessed with by Sadguru Sainath on June 12th 1952.
"Different faiths are like different rivers that flow from different regions but ultimately join the ocean. The object of every religion is God. He alone is worthy of worship and none else. To make sordid desires of life to dominate is to invite catastrophe. Do not be dragged in the mire of worldly temptations for they are death knells of misery and degradation. Riches are the burning bricks with which the vault of hell is built. Lust for power is a shadowy business. Do not aspire for worldly applause for it is fickle and baseless. Stain not your soul with allurements of life but keep it stainless with love and light of God.
God alone is the reality, all else is of unreal nature. Seek God in the simplicity of your heart. Renounce the gewgaws of life. Hold fast to Truth and Righteousness. Mercy and Compassion, Love and Gentility, Simplicity and Humility, Earnestness and Sincerity, Passivity and Catholicity, Sobriety and Integrity, Forgiveness and Forbearance, Patience and Perseverance. Aspire to be a Saint, a sage by getting out from the common track and following your own God. Work ceaselessly, pray to God zealously, keep your mind serene and calm even in the midst of storms and tempests. Be pure in heart and you will see God. God-realization is the goal of life, not earthly happiness which is false and effervescent".

Quotation of the Week:
"What man gives never stays. What God gives is never exhausted".-Shri Sai Baba
Q. Saibaba said to Dasganu Maharaj, "Why do you want all this paraphernalia-coat, uparani and pheta etc, do off all that before Me, why wear them on the body?" - Comment? A. Ksheerabdithanaya Sai baba does not believe in any dress or customs irrespective of the cast and creed. He takes into account the clearness of heart of a devotee nothing else. For that reason He says that if you are not suppose to help anyone do not abuse him/her via ill words. If you have that strong faith in Him them even the Maya won't dare to trouble you and all our misdeeds in this birth or earlier will be erased. 'Shradha' and 'Saburi' is the key. Trust in Him, He will surely help u reach the other side of the lake where lies your dreams and ambitions. My only prayer To Him is let His graceful hands remain on us for ever, Let His children find solace at His feet. Let they be safe under His arms and feel secured. If this is thus none can dare to harm His devotee in any manner though it might be intentionally or unintentionally. And Sai is always concerned about His devotees Like a devotee thinks about his hidden treasure that is Sai. Likewise He too has His mind always on us. For Him we are His treasure. Guru is always concerned about His devotees. But that undivided attention, faith and patience should be the prasad to be offered to Our Deity. Q. Why did Saibaba scold a person who changed his religion into another one? A. by Lorraine Walshe-Ryan In the Sai Satcharita, Baba states to this person "Stick to your bolster". One never truly knows the thoughts of Baba unless it is specifically for that particular person whom He makes reference to and utters certain messages. I feel that Baba meant that in this Kali yuga, there are so many religions, so many forms of God, and confusion is rife amongst seekers. In seeking God for there are some who truly are, it is akin to God hopping. In the process we get confused when not satisfied by one religion move on to the next. Confusions belie one with words and scriptures whereby one does not know what or whom to follow any longer. Thereby by instructing "Stick to one religion" I believe Baba is calming our thoughts centering them on the one we truly believe in, and even though we should respect all religions, follow the God that is in your heart. Seek Him and stick with Him.
