I would like to thank Baba through Sai Vichaar for helping us know that everything is fine. When my wife went for routine check up in 2010, the gynecologist found some form of a cyst in the breast and advised a recheck after some more time. When we recently visited the doctor, no cyst was found. We are very thankful to Shirdi Baba.

Devotees Experience:

  • Manjita

Baba, Thank you and Koti Koti pranaam at your lotus feet. I don't have words to Thank Baba. Last year I had lot of health problems. Baba had blessed me with a daughter 6 years back. We thought of having another child but since I had irregular period I could not conceive, Doctor told me that my one ovary is not functioning & if I conceive I may have an abnormal baby. I was shocked to hear this. I prayed to Baba and started doing Nav guruvar vrat. By Baba`s grace I also consulted a Homeopathic doctor who gave me hope. When I finished my 7th Thursday, I got my good news that I am pregnant. I was so overjoyed by my Baba miracle that I felt as if I am dreaming. On 9th Thursday I completed my udayapan. All my pregnancy I would do Baba's naam smaran and take Udi water when I would go for checkup.During my 8th month we faced lot of obstacles like my live-in maid went to India & dint return back. When my delivery date was fixed for my C-section, I was nervous thinking how my husband alone will manage. Here also Baba gave the visit visa for my mother in a day. By Baba's grace I delivered Baby Boy. When I was taken inside operation theatre, my daughter was continuously taking Baba's name. Now my Baby is 3 month and I still dint find any maid.My mom had to return back to India as we could not extend her visa. I prayed Baba but maybe Baba has a better plan for me. Since 5 month we are facing problem for the maid. By Baba's blessing we got a good massage lady for the baby but I don't know why Baba doesn't solve this maid problem. Today I had to resume my duty so I had to keep my Baby with an Hyderabadi maid but still at the back of my mind I am worried thinking whether she will take good care of my baby or not. Morning I prayed baba to always be with my baby and take care of him. I don't know how to Thank Baba for blessing me with a baby boy. I will bring my kids to Shirdi when I visit India. Baba please I humbly pray to solve my maid problem. Bless us with a good trustful maid who can stay with us for many years without any more complains & problems. Baba also see that this maid takes good care of my son. Baba you always be with my son and protect him. We are planning to bring my mom again on visit so Bless her with good health so that she could come here again. Always shower your blessings on us and all your devotees. Thank you Baba for everything and Koti koti pranam.

  • Sunitha

Om Sai Ram. I have been reading Guru Charitra for past 17 years. Baba is always listening to me and answering my prayers. Recently, my son has applied for high school admission but they never called him for an interview. It was very surprising for his teachers also since he is a very good student with high academic performance. As a mother, I couldn't\'t see his pain. He was very upset and confused about the Application process. I prayed to Baba for give us some hope. When I called the school they said they will re-verify his Application and let us know. This is a miracle we never expected. I have complete faith in Baba; he will definitely make my son go to the school he wanted. Jai Sai Ram

Weekly Question:

  • Q. How do you see and experience Sri Saibaba in your daily life?

    Sai devotee
As our Sadguru Sai nath had told about the Mango tree, full of flowers...but still all the flowers do not turn out to be fruits....similarly all our prayers too cannot be answered always. Faith and Patience are the most valuable offering to our Guru. If our wish is not fulfilled that means we have received something that our Guru Himself wished to give us .......and nothing can be more special than that. REHAM NAZAR KARO AB MOREY SAI TUM BIN NAHI MUJHE MAA,BAAP,BHAI

  • Q. How do you see and experience Sri Saibaba in your daily life?

    Ritu
My self and all Sai Devotee look at Baba as their driving force in life, as a mental physical and psychological support system. As baba has said Tum Meri taraf dekho Mein tumhari taraf dekunga. A true Sai devotee converse, meditate, breathe in and out Sai name as a means of life. Sai is not a God name for a true devotee but it is a complete School of thoughts of Sai babas Principles and teachings. Sai devotee makes Sai the ADHAAR of his all doings, KARMAS and receiving. "Sai Sharnam " and "Shradha Saburi" is how a devotee see and experience Sai baba in his own life.

Sai Vichaar

He belongs to all!

Saibaba wanted to belong to all and be shared by all. He apparently found himself at ease in this paradoxical situation. When pressed on whether he was Hindu or Muslim, he would often get very angry and abuse people. Once he told a devotee:" You have been with me for eighteen years now. Does Sai mean for you only these three and a half cubits of height?

Antonio Rigopoulos expands further in the book, "The Life and Teachings of Saibaba of Shirdi" as follows: Certainly, Saibaba never encouraged his own worship, though in the last years he gave up resistance and accepted the cult which the Hindus tribute to him, often in a quite ostentatious form. Saibaba was able to avoid clashes between two communities and succeeded in unifying them in an atmosphere of general harmony. At this early period, Hindu worship of Baba was purely individual. A devotee would bring flowers, bow to him, and ask for a blessing and leave. Mhalsapati was apparently the only one who honored him with a sandal paste puja.

Baba would often talk about Hindu gods, quoting from sacred texts and commenting upon passages of Bhagavadgita, the Isha Upanishad and so forth. The names of Krishna and Rama seem to have been particularly dear to him. With Muslim followers, Baba would always talk of Allah and Koran, often quoting Persian verses. Apparently one of his favorite expressions were Allah rakhega vaisa rahena, that is, Let us be content with what we have and submit our will to Allah. On several occasions, Sai reassured his listeners by saying that he, like them, was but a devotee of Allah, a humble faqir with two arms and two legs.

In later years, Parsis and even a few Christians would come to Shirdi. Saibaba respected all creeds, true to his conviction that all religions are but particular paths leading to one ineffable goal. All had free access to the Masjid: outcasters, lepers, dogs, birds and so on. Baba particularly enjoyed the company of untouchables and the ill. One Bhagoji Shinde, a leper, came to be one of Sai's closest devotees. This was the reason why the Masjid came to be known by the Hindu name of Dvarakamai, the many-gated mother. From the young faqir, most asked for blessings of a material kind, progeny, jobs, cures from illness etc. very few requested spiritual guidance.

Reading of Sri Sai Satcharitha

Lessons being taught on good deeds, good manners remain appreciable irrespective of the person giving the lecture or reading holy books etc. Just to make sure that serving poor or satisfying hunger are means of serving god, you need not read satcharithra. These good things are minimal acknowledgements to be made by "our selves". But why do we read satcharithra? It is a great book that discusses everything so that one can renew himself and turn out to be a better person. We are grown enough that we can make our own decisions live independently know what is good or bad. Again another question arises. If we know all the good happenings then what is the need for us to read about some old sayings? If anyone asks me this question I would definitely go "for" the person's views. Now I will shoot a query for these people "How many good things have you been practicing? Believe me many of them do not have a valid answer. So what is this satcharithra about? Everyone think for a moment. Does reading the precious writings of Sri Hemadpanthi ji once is enough to know the essence of the book? Definitely the answer is no. But a single reading of the book will make you realize what we are missing - the purpose of our lives - Atmasakshatkara Continue to read the book. Once, twice, thrice or innumerable times. It does not matter. While you read, at one point all the senses, mind, heart gets focused and then you reach what you call is the swayam tripthi or atmasantripthi - where we satisfy the inner deity within ourselves. Later on you transform to a better person and strive for the reason you were born. That is when you completely understand the beloved book. SADGURU SRI SAINATHARPANA MASTU.

Help To EndureSM – Initiative to help those enduring with hard times alone

Dear Readers,

Pain and suffering come uninvited, and nobody is immune to the perils of bad times. As we all lead our lives under Sri Sai’s benevolent gaze, we endure the hard times with the faith that help comes to us in different shapes and forms.

To illustrate a real situation, imagine the challenges of being an International student away from home.  On top of it imagine the cruel play of fate and being engulfed by a terminal illness with no major health coverage and under a pile of medical bills! Imagine one in prime youth, instead of being a ray of hope and joy to support retired parents, he himself needs support! Enduring all physical, emotional and financial pain, one continues to fight the disease against all odds. Such are the real stories of these Children of Sai  who are trying to survive a day at a time, struck by the dreaded disease like Cancer! Fighting cancer is difficult, prolonged, and expensive. It drains out all the resources one has!

When we see such a dire situation, it pains us, makes us feel thankful for what we have and it motivates us to do something.  When even the best medical care can’t provide cure in such a situation, what it is we can do?  We can Help To EndureSM by sharing our blessings through most generous gift we can give.

Help To EndureSM, raises money to fight cancer, to raise awareness of cancer in the community and help families endure in their fight against cancer; one family at a time.  It is a community-developed event run by volunteers.  All your contributions go towards activities supporting those fighting cancer.

We know there are many more men, women, and children who will seek our – and your – help.  The need is greater than ever. Please send your gift today.  Please spread this message or sign up to volunteer for this cause.
